Keep an eye open for the Adams Memorial, a justifiably famous marker by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. A casting of it is in the Smithsonian's American Art Gallery. It's a haunting work. Everything from colonial-era graves to elaborate Victorian mausoleums to inventive and artistic modern markers is to be seen here.
There are too many nerdy spots to show you (Over 1000!) in the current map view.
