The site of WWII airfield at Steeple Morden. It is now privately owned agricultural land. However there is a distinctive memorial for USAF 355th fighter group at the side of the road. there is also a bronze map there that you can see the original lay out of the airfield. there is a small layby on the opposite side of the road to park, enough for 2 or 3 cars.

Please bare in mind that this is a war memorial. Some family members and friends of those who died still go there to pay their respect.
